NBIC In-Service Inspectors
To better inspect your boilers and pressure vessels, as of July 1st, 2017, CODE Steel is becoming National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) In-service Inspectors certified. This is a law change in Arizona and will be a significant development for CODE Steel. The NBIC will ensure professionalism and that inspectors from CODE Steel will know what they are doing when it comes to boilers and pressure vessels inspections.
Back in 1919, the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors was created to encourage better safety to life and property. The Board oversees laws, rules, and regulations regarding boilers and pressure vessels used in facilities. They offer training programs to continue education for inspectors and pressure equipment professionals, which is what CODE Steel will be taking for the certification.
Since July 1st, all inspectors here at CODE Steel have received Certificates and Commission Cards that will be renewed each year to maintain our education on boilers and pressure vessels inspections.
